1. Overview
We want you to be satisfied with CloudNexus services. Because domains, hosting, and security products are delivered digitally and often incur third-party registry or license fees, refund rules vary by product. This Return Policy explains what can be refunded and how to submit a request.
2. Hosting plans
New shared, WordPress, and VPS hosting orders (first term only) may qualify for a full refund if you cancel within thirty (30) days of the initial purchase date and have not violated our Terms of Use.
- Refunds apply to hosting fees only, not to add-ons purchased separately unless stated otherwise.
- Renewals, upgrades, and migration services are non-refundable unless required by law.
- Accounts suspended for abuse or non-payment are not eligible.
3. Domain names
Domain registrations, renewals, transfers, premium domains, and redemption fees are generally non-refundable once submitted to the registry, because registry charges are passed through to us immediately.
- If you cancel within five (5) days of a new registration and the domain has not been used for live services or transferred out, contact support—we will attempt to reverse the registration where the registry allows.
- Add-on grace periods, WHOIS privacy, and DNS premium services follow the same registry timing rules.
- Promotional or coupon-priced domains refund only the amount actually paid, not the standard list price.
4. SSL certificates and security add-ons
SSL and security products are non-refundable after issuance or activation, including when a certificate has been generated or installed. If you order the wrong product, contact support before activation—we may offer a one-time exchange where technically feasible.
5. Email and productivity services
Email mailboxes and related subscriptions may be refunded within fourteen (14) days of initial purchase if no substantial outbound mail has been sent and the account is not part of a bulk or reseller plan. Renewals are non-refundable.
6. How to request a refund
Open a billing ticket through your account dashboard or Contact page with your order number, product name, and reason for the request. Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within five to ten (5–10) business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a payment dispute. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in immediate suspension of services and collection of registry fees still owed on your account.
8. Taxes and currency
Refunds include taxes only where we collected tax on the original transaction. Exchange-rate differences on international payments are not reimbursed.
9. Policy changes
We may update this Return Policy. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies unless a newer policy expressly offers greater consumer protections required by law.
